Common Questions
When do I need to order for Halloween?
Standard shipping: order by Tuesday, October 20. Express: order by Friday, October 23. Every product page shows its delivery date and warns you before checkout if a piece cannot make it in time.
Can the props handle wind and rain?
Items marked wind-tested come with real anchoring hardware and are rated for gusts up to 25 mph when installed as directed. Resin and fabric props are made for outdoor use through the season; bring electronics inside before a major storm.
Do plug-in props include a power adapter?
Yes. Each plug-in prop ships with a UL/ETL-listed adapter, and the product page lists the cord length so you can plan extension cords ahead of time.
What if a prop is scarier than I expected?
You can return it within 30 days of delivery, unused and in the original packaging. See Returns.
Do you ship internationally?
Not this season. We deliver to US addresses in all 50 states.
Is everything in stock?
If you can add it to your cart, it is in a US warehouse. When an item sells out we take it down rather than accept orders we cannot deliver before Halloween.
How is sales tax calculated?
Tax is worked out at checkout from your shipping address and your state's rules. The total shown before you pay is the total you are charged.
What if I order after the cutoff?
Between October 20 and October 23, express is the only option that still arrives before Halloween, and the product page says so. After that, product pages state clearly that delivery comes after Halloween.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, while it is still in the warehouse. Email us with your order number right away. Once the label is printed the package is with the carrier; you can refuse delivery or send it back.
Can I return a prop I used on Halloween?
No. Returns are for unused items in the original packaging within 30 days. If a prop stopped working while it was set up, the warranty covers it — contact us.
Is there a warranty?
Manufacturing defects are covered through January 31 of the year after purchase: motors that stop, lights that fail, seams that split. Normal wear, storm damage and setups that ignore the instructions are not covered.
My animatronic will not turn on. What should I do?
Check that the adapter is pushed in all the way and the switch is set to TRY-ME, not OFF — that solves about half of these. If it still will not start, email a photo of the prop and the adapter label with your order number and we will send a replacement. You do not pay to return the faulty one.
